The Types of Women Perfumes

Obviously there are many scents available and its important that you – the wearer – find the one to suit.

There are various ways to describe perfumes and their odor basically depending on what they are manufactured from -

- floral

- woody

- oriental

- fresh

All are self – explanatory except that “fresh” applies in general to citrus scents. With this understanding it becomes a little easier to choose a more appropriate perfume for you.

Women’s perfumes – the varying strengths

True perfume is a description used to tell us that the perfume has a concentration of at least 20% aromatic oils. Thus the strength is very high, along with the price tag.

Usually an eau de perfume, eau de toilette or an eau de cologne is fine for the average person. These types are made from reduced concentrations of essence. Usually they are cheaper and do tend to come in larger quantities than true perfume would do. This makes it more practical to use such perfumes on a regular basis.

Knowing the difference in women’s perfumes

It does take a little time to learn which is the ideal perfume for you but as you become more familiar with the various brands so you will be able to determine the aroma just by looking at the label on the bottle. Its a useful skill to have not only so you choose the “correct” perfumes for yourself but also when considering perfumes as gifts for others.
